CALIFORNIA CONSUMER AFFAIRS ASSOCIATION
CCAA members encompass law enforcement, mediation,
regulatory, legislative, and licensing offices whose primary focus
is consumer protection.
CCAA member agencies come from city, county, state, and
federal branches of government. Member agencies provide a
myriad of services to the public through their individual offices.
Agency responsibilities include counseling, mediation,
prosecution, information dissemination, consumer education,
professional licensing, legislation, regulation, advocacy, and
public policy.
Agencies with funding primarily from government sources that
are charged with consumer protection or consumer assistance
responsibilities are eligible for full membership. Non-profit
organizations with an ongoing consumer complaint handling
program or other interests in consumer protection are eligible for
associate membership.

The association holds annual meetings, alternating between
northern and southern sites. CCAA has both a Northern and a
Southern Division to facilitate more frequent meeting
throughout the year.
CCAA is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
